Our sunny new outdoor space

We are pleased to share with you our new outdoor meeting space for our clients to enjoy.

Positioned right outside our multipurpose room, the area was a drab, and unused walkway. For our Specialist Family Violence Practitioners engaging with their clients is integral in developing their case plan. Often it can take days to find a break through and they are always looking for new ways and places to connect with them. The new meeting space will provide another place for our practitioners to meet with clients where they can enjoy the sun while their children play in the adjacent playground. We will also run therapeutic group activities such as learning to garden, using the produce in cooking sessions as well as regular group BBQs. This area was made possible by donations raised at last year’s International Women’s Day breakfast facilitated by Women in Rotary and supported by the Rotary Clubs of Monash and Mount Waverley. Thank you for our new space.
